Two Toyota Land Cruisers side by side... The blue one is a casting by Matchbox, really well done in my opinion, the details are outstanding and make me think of Matchbox of the 60's/70's when the company made nicely finished castings. The zebra paint job one is made by Majorette (it actually says 4x4 Toyota on the base, no mention of Land Cruiser anywhere), not the greatest details on this one, but made with metal body and base, when I was a kid I had a non-lifted version, same body, different base, painted in a kind of gray or khaki color, I can’t recall exactly. The opening back door on the Majorette is a cool feature, the plastic window provides a spring-loaded hinge for it that works remarkably well to keep the door both open and closed in position.
