There was some really nice light in the backyard for Saturday’s sunset, so I thought I’d try shooting in it because I haven’t really before. I pulled out my favorite of the Japanese Historics to try out some new angles in changing light. None of these are filtered or otherwise edited, how’d I do?

First up, the RX3. Love this casting and color.

Trying the Dutch Angle, sort of. Which is actually German. On a Japanese car. In America. Thanks, Jobjoris.

Now the ubiquitous 510, chosen not only because I love a good dime, but because it’s sometimes hard to capture black cars well and I wanted to try out backlighting with maximum contrast. This car was shot first, then I grabbed the Mazda as the sun dropped.
