Tomytec has just unveiled the Tomica Limited Vintage releases scheduled for September 2017.

Three regular releases and one specially boxed model will be available - a newly-cast Mazda 787B, a newly-cast Nissan Gazelle S110, a four-door 1969 Nissan Bluebird SSS, and a specially-boxed Datsun 510 in a series celebrating Mr. Katayama.

The new Mazda 787B cast will first be released as the 1991 LeMans-winning #55 car (chassis 002) and will have removable front and rear panels. The listed price is an eye-watering 8,000¥ (~$96.00 CAD; ~$70.00 USD; ~€65,00; ~$95.00 AUD).

The new Nissan Gazelle cast (LV-N 154) depicts a hatchback from 1981. The Gazelle was a mildly upscaled version of the S110 Silvia and designed to be sold in a different dealership network. The S110 Silvia was sold in North America as the second-generation Datsun 200SX.

The regular Bluebird 510 releases for September (LV-168) depict a four-door 1600 SSS version from 1969. Previously this generation was released as the 1300 Standard four-door (LV-144), 1300 Deluxe two-door (LV-152), 1400 DX four-door (LV-79a, c), 1600 SSS four-door (LV-79b, LV-89), 1800 SSS four-door (LV-138), and a van/wagon version (LV-81).

Finally, the specially-boxed Datsun 510 is the second release in a series celebrating Mr. Yutaka Katayama, affectionately known as Mr. K, who was instrumental in pushing for sportier Bluebirds in North America and for his role in the development of the Fairlady Z. The first release was a red 510 4-door released almost 8 years ago.
