Sir Roger George Moore (1927-2017).

The actor passed away aged 89 after a lengthy battle with cancer. He played the British secret agent James Bond in seven feature films between 1973 and 1985. He also portrayed Simon Templar in The Saint TV series from 1962 and 1969.

However, I’ll always remember him as James Bond. In my little tribute to one of Britain’s greatest actors, I showcase Hot Wheels’s replica of his ‘submersible’ Lotus Esprit from the 1977 JB movie, The Spy Who Loved Me. As a Lotus fanatic, I thought it would be fitting to show one of the most famous movie cars of all time that also happens to be a Lotus.

It has been a terrible few days. First, 2006 MotoGP champion Nicky Hayden passed away after succumbing to his bicycle accident injuries, then the horrible Manchester terrorist bombing, and now the passing of Sir Roger Moore. Very sad times... :(

RIP to those who tragically perished during the terrorist bombing and also to Nicky and Roger.

I pray that there will be peace for all of us.
