My wheels have arrived. Some might think that the Silhouette is a fantasy cast. It is not. Bill Cushenbery built the Silhouette years before Hot Wheels made their first car.
I believe I’m out of sandpaper now. So I fit the interiors and bases this morning.
It’s their own fault for being right next to one another in the store.

Today we have 2 WIPs and a ‘Murican DLM. I’ll start with the three wheeled Raptor.
I patiently waited for Sunday before freeing this little fella from his plastic tomb.
It came today. And I can make one of these domes work. Woohoo!
This project has taken a very long time. I’ve painted the body five times. Every time my carelessness has ruined the paint/clear.
I just threw some wheels in there for the pics. As soon as the paint dried I knew it needed vintage redline wheels.
I believe the only thing left to cut is the glass.
I seem to have broken my truck...
I’ll start with the F150. The roof patch fell out when I stripped it this morning. I got super glue on the finished paint. “Bummer”
The wife went to visit relatives this morning. I opened a liter of rum at 11:00 AM today. So this post might have some bad grammar (they probably all do). Lets strap in for some “Random thought Wednesday”, brought to you by Nodles(Rum!).
