Haven’t snapped any of my recent hawls, but thought this might be enjoyed around these parts:

I was fortunate to have some time to kill in L.A. before catching a red-eye home last Friday, which afforded me a chance to visit the Petersen Automotive Museum for the first time in 5 years (well before the recent remodel). I wanted to visit for one reason, to see the exhibit of Dan Gurney’s creations that had opened the week before.

Amazing exhibit. If you find yourself in SoCal while it’s open, it is well worth the time and money, and then you get to see the rest of the museum as a bonus!

The gift shop had an impressive inventory of diecast, including a one-off HW tanker. I’ll snap it when I get a chance. :-)
