This strange-shaped first responder was affectionately dubbed "the duck ambulance" in my childhood stable. Not because its designation was to rescue waterfowl, but because of its unusual bird-like shape. The official name, believe it or not, was "The Strecha Fetcha."
Built as a Matchbox by Lesney Products in 1971 (apparently, according to the underside) this little guy belonged to my father before he gave it to me.
Detail is decent— there's an incapacitated individual on the starboard side cot, and you can make out a steering wheel and seats through the weirdly geometric front glass. I guess they reckoned the stiff in the back could wait while the blokes driving went for a smoke or something.
