Some of you probably noticed one of the pieces from last week’s Tomica Bonanza mail call was not actually a Tomica. It was actually by Oversteer. And oh my it is absolutely amazing.

The whole reason I made that huge Tomica purchase was actually just for this Oversteer model and ended up with everything else as bycatch for the sake of combined shipping. My uncle was in town from overseas and I wanted to give him a high quality scale model of his 1:1. But in the end, this ended up arriving a day after he flew home... and nobody told me he sold his 1:1!!! At least I handed him the Tomica version of it and since I still had it on hand last night, I had the chance to take these pictures of the model.

I attempted to hand it off to my dad to take it to my uncle since my dad alsoflew overseas last night... but my dad didn’t want to open up his luggage to take it with him so I still have this model on hand and might as well just keep it at this point.

You can even see the clutch, brake, and gas pedals!

The rear view mirror is facing the passenger though

Now that my uncle has sold it off and has received my Tomica first-edition recolor as a momento of this former 1:1, I’m debating whether to keep this, get rid of it to recoup the cost, or just give it to my uncle too even though the rest of my family says I should just keep it because “your uncle’s too old to play with toys”.

The Oversteer R35 Nismo is great quality but wow, this thing is way better.
