My wife took the twins with her to visit her friend so that gave me THREE hours of ZERO responsibility for the first time in FOUR months. Naturally, I decided to make the most of my time: play with Hot Wheels.
My first course of action was to DLM some things. I put my shelves up in the basement, so now it was time to fill them up. I started with my Corvettes, simply because I have the most of those.
C1's and C2's went up top, starting with my Boulevard ‘58.
C3's through C5 followed, and C6-C7's went on the shelf below. The next shelf and a half got filled with Camaro’s.
Ok what’s next... Might as well keep the GM cars going. Next came the Chevy’s and the Impalas followed by my Nova’s and Chevelles.
Then came my G-bodies, Buick’s, Cadillac’s and a whole shelf of Pontiacs! GTOs on the left, Firebirds on the right.
DLM ALL THE THINGS!
Two shelves left, might as well do my trucks! Boom, one case filled. Time to move on.
I needed to do a wheel swap, it had been too long...
Aaahhhhhh! Not enough...
Real Rider swap!!!
What’s next? Try out removing tampos with dry-erase markers?
Oh man, so much better.
I didn’t stop there though. I also set up my two other cases of shelves. It felt so good to get back to the basement. I’ve still got a lot more work to do.
