A review of the 2017 LEGO 60145 Buggy. I’ll compare it to the 1992 LEGO 6648 Mag Racer.

Back of the box depicts wheelies, jumps, tire falling off and driver walking away from broke down buggy :P

All the parts it comes with.

I thought these would be stickers. Some light branded lights. I guess its a play on KC lights with the smiley.

All together. The model feels solid and can handle some thrashing. My nephew will test that out :P

V6 engine?

Gauges are right in your face.

Roll bars move up to remove the driver. This looks like a new racing suit.

Compared to last years 60115 4x4 Baja truck.

And the 1992 Mag Racer which I think the new set closely resembles. Sadly there is no Octan livery for the new buggy.

The old set has real suspension system!

Both are rear engine.

1992 driver is happy as ever. 2017 driver has some disfigurement from a crash or maybe 92 driver beat him up. ;)

I say its a tie for which set is better. No suspension on the 2017 buggy, but the older one is more fragile and the wing falls off easily. Plus the new one looks awesome.
