One of the ‘odd’ exotics Hot Wheels has come out with (in my personal opinion)... The 2001 B Engineering Edonis.

One thing I’ll say about the Edonis is that it is based on the Bugatti EB110 Super Sport, but was re-engineered heavily, both exterior and interior. The only major component retained from the original Bugatti is the carbon fiber chassis. Both the exterior and interior of the car as you can see were redesigned so much so as to give it a bit of ‘B Engineering identity’ rather than letting people know you just took a Bugatti and rebadged it...

I recently sifted through my old cars collection and found this beauty. If I’m not mistaken (and I try not to use Hot wheels Wiki) this first release came out around 2003 or 2004. I got it because of the nice gold paint job. Knew very little of the car back then but the shape and colour was enough to get me to take it home. Played with a few times, then hidden away until recently... And without further ado I’ll leave you with some snaps I took of it!

Nice of HW to include ‘wire mesh’ effect on the metal body...

I just realised the only painted parts on the body are the vents and scoops. No headlight tampo or anything !
I personally love this pic. The side profile is the best look of this car...
