Tomorrow, 3/26/15 is my 40th birthday. I was going to wait and post this, but the further I get into today, the more it looks like I won't have the time tomorrow.
I thought for my 40th trip around the sun, I might just go ahead and do a little GT-40 photoshoot. So, without further adieu...
The newest Cool Classics GT, along with the favorite of my collection, the 1969 series Ford GT40 MkIV. Don't worry, I have clearer pictures of the MkIV...this just happened to be my favorite of the bunch.
The paint chips and play-wear are a more evident on the elder of the two...not to mention the poor panel fit of the engine cover, thanks to a certain 7-year-old who liked to fidget with moving parts...and who really regrets that 33 years later.
This was about 7:30 PM, and I was losing light pretty quickly. I took my cars inside and began to put them away, when I noticed another relative had made himself known...so we went out and took a quick shot on the bed of my truck.
Here's an example of my post for tomorrow on Oppo. I took this picture when I was 17 at the Mid-Ohio SVRA Vintage Grand Prix.
Thanks for looking!
