The Facebook groups and Instagram posts have been buzzing for months about the mysterious Hot Wheels ID cars...and we didn’t really know a lot until they dropped last weekend. Lesney Matchbox time is here...oh wait, it’s another trick, as I need to pace myself. Today’s review is definitely not Matchbox. This is Siku 1020, the Mercedes-Benz 250 in Polizei livery. This casting entered the range in 1975, remaining until 1984, and is what one expects from Siku of this vintage:

Not all my builds are perfectly planned from the beginning. Some are completely random. Take this Chevy tow truck, for instance. It was started as a failed project. It sat for months untouched gathering dust. I almost scrapped the leftovers when I took a look at my previous builds, which mostly consists of tow trucks.
