A Few HAWLs

Well, lately I’ve been slow to take pictures of my HAWLs, so here are a few of them from the past month

First, I found most of the Euro Style series at Walmart. I had to wake up early Saturday morning to run an errand, so I used it as an opportunity to check my nearest Walmart afterwards for the Euro Style series. It already arrived in Canada more than a month ago, but this was the first time seeing it in a store (found a few sets at the Scarborough Swap Meet). When I got to the pegs, however, every single Volkswagen Golf MkVII was gone. Surprisingly, there were around six BMW M3s, and two or three of the rest. I just picked up one of each, leaving the rest like the Japan Historics, since it made me pretty happy to find them - hopefully it made someone happy (and not a scalper).

A few days after, I had a chance to stop by again, and only the Porsche 911 (993) GT2 was left, so I picked it up. They also restocked with the newest Matchbox 5 packs (but never any singles), so I picked up one of the new NYPD packs.

Finally, a week or so ago, I stopped by a Toys R Us that I rarely visit (it’s usually inconvenient) and they had more recent stock than the Walmarts I’d been visiting (perhaps G or H case). They also had just 2 Euro Styles left on the pegs - I picked up the Golf to complete my one set. I also ended up getting the Hare Splitter Real Rider since I’d been thinking about getting it for a while, and that release (Heritage Real Riders Wave 1) has been warming pegs in Walmarts and TRUs for the past year.
