I was introduced to this amazing set when I was like 6 or 7. It was my older brothers from the early 80's. My dad was cleaning out the attic at the time, and asked me if I wanted it. Not knowing what it was, I opened it. I was amazed and obsessed with the detail, even though it was slightly worn. the playsets from my Childhood couldn’t hold a candle to it. It’s simplicity is what made it beautiful. I never wanted a playset where the cars were getting puked out by dinosaurs. I was more into the realistic scenarios, even when I was real little.

Every section is still in pretty good shape.

One of my favorite Castings a (‘73 grand am) sitting pretty next to a ‘77 olds, and a Mint Monte.

The Dodge 024 in the garage was in there, and stayed when I got it.

Some nice AMC Jeep and Desoto action.

Some clipboard action at the dyno test center. I’m guessing Ted isn’t very impressed with the DMC.

Mike’s Transmission is still going strong.

Even the elevator still works.

Hopefully this brought back some memories. I know it did for me.

Thanks for the read!
