Today I’m going to profile what is easily the coolest and most elaborate small scale diecast I’ve ever laid my hands on. I was actually going to post some pictures a couple weeks ago, but Matchthebox beat me to it by a day. His post was a lot better than mine was going to be, so I consider that a good thing actually. Check it out if you missed it, as he did a great job laying out how this amazing toy works.

This is a nearly 100% HWEP post, because this place is the friggen best! The Siku crane, transporter, and escort van set came from Jobjoris. This beast of a set manages to be both huge, and only 1:87 scale (HO scale for train people) the photo below has a sharpie in it to help you see how big this friggen thing is. As luck would have it, Frosted included this cool HO scale train depot building as an RAOK with a past HWEP. The little HO Cadillac came from FryGuy, he’s a local friend who you’ll pretty much only see commenting on my posts. The only thing I found my own self is the MBX semi and dump trailer, which was a junk shop find a couple years ago. It lists it’s scale as 1:135, but I think it manages to fit in pretty well nonetheless.

Since Matchthebox showed you how it works, I’m going to show you what it can do. I’m mostly going to let the pictures do the talking from here on out, with a few comments in the captions.

That is how 1:1 lowboy trailers actually work, the front end splits off like this.

The first scoop was a little disappointing, I got better though as I practiced.
