Often called the Hakosuka (ハコスカ) by fans. Hako (ハコ) means Box in Japanese, and suka(スカ) is short for Skyline (スカイライン; Sukairain). The “Box Skyline” or Nissan Skyline HT 2000 GT-X is a one example of a great classic car.

The cast is from the recently released Japan Historics series of HW.

Comparing it to its previous version that also had rubber tires, the one from the Boulevard series, I think I prefer the former rather than the latter. But that’s just me. :) The combination of matt black fenders and metallic grey just looks too good... :D

Anyway, one of the turn-offs of this cast is that there was no rear or headlight tampos... so like what I usually do, I took some markers and penned those in. I copied the colors from the card.. :) (pic)

Another thing I noticed, is that this was sporting the old style wheels and tires (same as that in the Boulevard) , and not the ‘4-spoke and stretched tires’ of the other casts in the series. Overall, its a very good cast, an excellent addition to any JDM collection. :)
