Okay, maybe a little play. Finally got a break long enough to DLM!
Studio and seminars have totally consumed my life for the past month. I picked up this HW Redline Nova 2 weeks ago, but only got around to DLM-ing it this week. I decided to let the little Nova explore some of the projects I’m working on.
After being DLM’d the Nova got a ride to studio with me. Seen here chilling on a fellow GM product.
Once in studio the Nova checked out the charred wood platform prototype. Posing on top:
And below, on some Kansas limestone:
Then checked out my computer to look at some CAD drawings (and catch up on LaLD).
Next, the Nova investigated the prototypes for my concrete seminar. Then hatched a plan to use some plasma cutting scraps.
The Nova overseeing laser etching operations. Unfortunately, couldn’t get the fast moving laser to show up in the photo.
Finally, hanging out with the finished product. The “business cards” I came up with for our studio to hand out. Mild self promotion :)
The Nova has become my desk companion in studio.
This is just a little of what’s been keeping me away from LaLD for the past couple weeks. What’s everyone else up to?
