Grocery run usually means a quick trip to the nearby Antique/Flea Mall. Snagged a Nissan Silva and Civic that I hadn’t seen before. An Porsche error car that was too lol worthy to pass up. A 24/7 that I think will be great for a wheel-swap and paint touch up. Lastly, the grocery store had a few HW to flip through, I snagged another Honda City since I think they will be harder to find in the future.

I’ve been getting slightly tired of photo shoots with the ole Alien Probe Customs garage. 2018 means a new Diorama project. Something that I can showcase some off-road vehicles on. I think it was Mr Osterling here on LaLD that first showed me the wonders of foam cutting for making diorama landscapes. Because I am a cheap SOB... I decided to pick up the cheapest device imaginable on the ‘bay.

This simple Styrofoam cutter was something absurd like $4 with free shipping from China. Uses 2 C batteries and has a little press-switch that loops the voltage around to make the center wire hot. Surprisingly, it works awesome. Cuts through foam super easy with nice precision. I’m going to hack away at some various pieces and make a multi-level landscape. If you are considering making a landscape diorama, this is a pretty great tool to have.
