I can hear Shop-Teacher’s glee from here!

For those of us who spend minimal time on social media, Auto World has recently shown pre-production samples of their upcoming 1:64 casting of the 1973-1987 Chevrolet pickup on Facebook and Instagram.

This is the first truck of any sort in the Auto World lineup. Their preview post shows that they’ve tooled each grille variation, different beds, tailgates, ride heights, and accessories.

While they’ve only showed variants of the short-bed pickup, I’d hope that a long-bed tooling is in the works, as well as maybe a Blazer, and GMC variants as well.

This is particularly exciting, as Auto World seems to have the best QC to price on the U.S. market now. If only they’d extend their distributorship to Canada and the Scandinavian countries, all of which share the U.S.’s taste for larger American classics.

Release is tentatively scheduled for early 2019.
