BaDT Wrecked Skyline Project -HWEP Content-

Give a Skyline. Get a Skyline. Is that how the world turns? The ever-awesome Pixel expressed interest in a spare carded Skyline that I posted here on LaLD. Because I love surprises, I told him to toss whatever in the mail as a trade. Imagine my surprise when I opened the box to find this fantastic wrecked skyline for my diorama.

The detail is just insane. The crumpled front end looks awesome. Nasty New England rust has been literally eating at the lower fenders. This car is just a work of art. I’m incredibly fortunate to have this in my collection. I would have been happy enough with the wrecked Skyline. But, also in the box was a super-clean Datsun Z. The swapped over wheels are a perfect match and I wish I could get pictures of the amazing detail on the interior.

Thank you very much Pixel! You are too generous in this trade. :)

Not to be outdone by the Skyline... this recently acquired Renault rally wreck rolled into the shop. It’s going to take a lot of man hours to get this poor beast back to running condition.
