I just ordered this beauty online, and I don’t claim to know the manufacturer before I bought this casting. It is made by an Italian company by the name of Grani & Partners, and this Ferrari collection is a Taiwanese 7-Eleven promotion. And since I don’t have a 488GTB diecast yet and the Kyosho one is beyond my budget, I thought it would be nice to have this one...

*photodump!* :)

The packaging shows the Ferrari 458 Challenge racecar. It is one of two colours depicted as a ‘bonus’ model as can be seen in the next pic...
...yellow and red Challenges (if you’re lucky to open and get it). These are packed in mystery boxes and you don’t know which mode you’re going to get!
The body and chassis haven’t been screwed on; it’s just placed together on the base for easier packaging.
The bags of parts (comprising of wheels, axles, tyres, steering wheel, dashboard, screws and a mini screwdriver. The mini screwdriver was a PAIN IN THE A** to work with! :P

Detailing is superb. Tampos and paint job is flawless...!
*salivating*

It was a very straightforward build. Took me 5 minutes! Very simple, even a 5-year old could fix this up! I personally think this model is better than the Kyosho one in two ways: 1) the stance and height of the car and 2) the tyre walls . This one has the rubberband look of the real car. The Kyosho model’s tyrewalls are a bit high and make the rims look like 17-inchers.

Satisfied with this model. Money well spent! :)
