Silly me didn’t take a picture of the bottom of these cars. And now I’m sitting at work trying to remember what they said on the bottom. I’m pretty sure it was Kidco, but, I’m not certain! Anyway - I won’t be surprised when you tell me I’m wrong, what the correct answer is for manufacturer, original casting manufacturer, exact date of production and which production line it came off.

Amazingly, some of these cars still have their keys! I’m guessing more than one of those were swallowed by the children/adults that played with them...
