The Field of Dreams ‘73 Type-2 T2, together with postcards acquired at the movie site.
Closeup of the T2. I was excited to find these for sale at the movie site, it makes a great souvenir at $8.
I’m a huge fan of Majorette cars because of the european nature of their models. I was distraught when they all but disappeared from the US market, and now they’re more like unicorns to me. I was happy to pick up this mint-on-card example for $4. It is now my only MOC Majorette in 1:64 scale (I have a 1:32 Ford Thunderbird).
I finally found the Cadillac One, and it has since been DLM’d!
At $10, I was happy to add this first generation Chevrolet S-10 pickup.
This is a Dyersville, IA marked, Farm Supply decaled Ertl S-10.

The print on the reverse of the card says #9244, and 2/88 which could be a manufacture date. If this is correct, this puts it right into the category of cars that were on the market when I was really young, and these are some of the cars that I adore the most.
E9 chassis BMW 3.0 CSL! He’s DLM’d.
I also was happy to find more Mild to Wild cars, the DLM’d Aston Vantage GT3...

...and the DLM’d standard Vantage.
I’m super excited to have found brand new Tomica, even if they were loose. Here are the 2005 Nissan Quon Diesel shark truck and 1988 Isuzu Super Hi-Decker bus.
I love the build quality of these as well as the wheels and suspenion. They feel so retro!

Mini Cooper and Toyota Hi-Medic ambulance.
The suspension effects of these two cars make me miss the old days of Matchbox. I need more of these, this is so bad...

I love the detail of these regular wheel Matchbox cars. The wheels aren’t much, but everything else is spot on, from grille castings to the body and door lines.
Just check out the dog in the backseat and the MG logo!
Superfast Matchbox! Citroen SM and Mercury Park Lane Commuter.

Brand new Ertl Bonneville patrol, to go with my old beat up examples, along with a gold Roger Dodger.
I have to fix the rear axle of the Challenger, but it should be a fun project!
