Big things with little cars

Digging for Nascar, found better.

After winning VIP tickets to both of the upcoming Nascar races at Darlington Speedway, I tried to see if I had any Nascar diecasts that belongs to drivers that are either still relevant or current. Sadly, I found none except for a Racing Champs #9 Intrepid but that’s not important!

I found 2 of the 3 Hot Wheels Interactive Games diecasts! Tow Jam hailing from CRASH!, a Nintendo-hard and outdated PC game that was basically one-life Angry Birds with Hot Wheels.

Roll Cage comes from the Hot Wheels PC-classic game known as Stunt Track Driver 2. You drive Hot Wheels on a scrolling CGI track; the physics engine from the first Stunt Track Driver game was carried over to this one and later showed up in Planet Hot Wheels, the most awesome free-to-play online racing game of the early 2000s.

Not much to say other that I’m happy to have found these two. I used to have the Super Modified that came with the original Stunt Track Driver but I have no idea where it’s gone off to...

I also found my Flachbau 930! As you can see here, Tow Jam’s charm comes from its awesome ability to tow just about any 1:64 diecast by hooking them from bellow by their rivets!

Of course it’s in Hot Wheels Racing Team tampos on chrome mesh wheels, this was 1999! They go so well together but I can’t help but wonder how this would look on a fresh set of Euro-Style rubber wheels and meshes!

It’s a great diecast in terms of detail and it was just freshly re-tooled for 2015 and you may have found a black chassic-edition version in stores this year! It’s just as awesome as the 934 RSR!
