A couple months ago I got a job, moved to a different city, and got a new apartment. My apartment even has some sweet display cases! Unfortunately, there was a small issue.

At some point in their 80+ year life someone tinted the bookcase’s glass. You can’t see the cars.

Two days later my lights arrived! (Prime is the best) I think the total cost was about $20, not bad at all considering I accidentally bought an extra set of electrical leads.

I used some masking tape to test fit the light strip (the strip has an adhesive backing for final placement)

I think it looks really good. The light is not as blue in person, but with the off-white walls in my apartment white balancing these shots was rather difficult even in photoshop.

It’s a nice subtly glow in my apartment, I’ll want to fix the light leaks around the doors though.
