Epic Diecast Weekend: Day 1 - Hot Wheels Legends Tour

I had quite the weekend, kicking Saturday off with the Hot Wheels Legends Tour at Mattel HQ in El Segundo. I left without any diecast to bring home but I still got a lot of enjoyment out of my day.

Please excuse the mediocre camera phone photography as I was running low on battery and only spent a couple seconds per shot before turning my phone back off.

I did not buy anything, including any of the Silhouettes because I may as well leave them for someone else that’s having trouble finding them. I mean, they’re readily available to me by the set for less than MSRP anyways. And that was about the end of the diecast for me that day.

This life-sized Matchbox was pretty neat. The shuttle to the event grounds were also right around the corner. Ended up not taking the shuttle and just walking to the event grounds for the sake of exercise. It wasn’t bad.

Even after the disappoint of standing in line for an hour to have them announce that the 510 Wagon sold out, I still had quite the day.
