The third car of the five-pack Ferrari Hot Wheels set, the underrated Ferrari 612 Scaglietti.

Isn’t this grand tourer a beaut? This incidentally is my first toy version of this model. I don’t think there were many small scale models of this Scaglietti... I may be wrong. But it has been such an underrated car that I think most people would’ve forgotten about it!

As with my previous post, the F430 Scuderia, the headlights on this 612 are one piece with the window, so it looks realistic on the front end. No tampos on the rear, which makes it rather plain. Side and hood tampos are available, but I find them cheesy. Could do without them. Anyone got an idea on how to rub out those ugly tampos? I’d much rather have a plain white Ferrari...

A very large sunroof! But to be honest, though a nice touch I feel the sunroof would’ve been nicer on the 1:18 model and not the 1:64 toy. To me it just looks as though someone sawed off the top portion of the roof and added some plastic to mimic the sunroof glass.
