Finally had the first power of the Pacer day today. 81 total trucks 71 outbound and 10 inbound not counting 25 to 28 shuttles from the plant. But we made it and the pacer did its job. One thing I learned back in the day is you don't abuse the power of the Pacer. Tomorrow is looking nearly as hairy and could actually be worse if the Best Buy job that is running doesn't make up some time tonight. I thought long and hard had the Chevette in my hand but decided I needed to change it up a bit, looked hard at the 288 GTO but skipped it since even though Tony is not my shift lead anymore he would be pissed if we took a beating and he found out I had a Ferrari in my pocket, looked hard at the Gremlin but two AMC's in a row didn't feel right either, so i eventually settled on this. It is another Johnny Lightning a 1970 Nova sporting a Vinyl top or at least a white one with some Keystone Classic wheels. I will reply to let you guys know how tomorrow turns out. BTW I have volunteered to work Sunday and it is looking like it could be a challenge. Any ideas of what to pack for Sunday might help. You name it I might have one to carry for a little help.
