Dodge introduced the C Series line of pickup trucks from 1954 to 1960. From 1957 to 1959, Dodge proposed the Sweptside pickup, a rival to the Chevrolet Cameo Carrier.

This 1959 Dodge D100 Sweptside Pickup is made by Neo scale models in 1/43. The reason I bought this is I like the look of this model year and never seen it released in this detail nor in 1/64.

One thing you will notice on this truck is the pickup bed side is not completely straight and has a slight angle upward which looks like tailfins in the style of sister Dodge station wagons of the late Fifties.

This thing originally cost a pretty penny so when American Excellence (online store) was offering a sale, I decided to jump on it.
