I got Forza Horizon 4 for Christmas, and while it’s way to cold out to take pictures of diecast, I can easily take pictures of some cars in Forza! Paging Le Monstre for a lil tribute.first hyper I bought was a LaFerrari, just for the sole purpose of making this livery. This has been an idea of mine for years. It’s something I had wanted to do in 1:64 scale, but I never had the skill, time, or LaFerrari to do it.
This is based off a 1965 Ferrari 250 TdF that had gone up to auction some time ago. Here’s the reference car:
i recreated the numbers in the new Font Ferrari uses.
I also bought a Bugatti, painted in personal spec, but this will likely change soon. But this is before showing off the car I paged Le Monstre for.
Considering his project to recreate Carolina Blue is one of the coolest projects I’ve been following, I decided to give the car a lil modern day tribute:
The car is based on the modern Red Heritage GT
I used this as a basis as the Original car the heritage edition was based on- the 1967 Winner of LeMans- shared the same basic stripe pattern as the “Carolina Blue” car:
This left me with a modern day heritage edition to Carolina Blue:
I am also saving up to buy a MkII GT40 to recreate the actual Carolina Blue livery, but this will have to do for now.
