I first saw one of these, well actually a close relative the A310, at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course during the Vintage Grand Prix, circa 1986. The car was parked in the spectator parking area of the infield. I remember just standing there, processing every vent, every bend of the sheet metal. It was something I hadn’t seen before.

Looking back, the car does seem dated, especially the headlights. The A310 never achieved the level of notoriety that it’s predecessor, the A110, reached.

The picture I took that day spent many years on my bedroom wall. That photo has been lost to time for decades now, but to have one in Forza reminds me of the great times I had at car events with my late father. Those times that led to my life-long fascination of anything and everything automotive.
