so, for today’s FF, i present to you, Majorette’s take on the Alpine 110-50 concept from 2012 IIRC.. the Alpine is basically a Racing version of the DeZir concept, presented in 2010.. but for more words, i’ll let Jalopnik do the talking..
also, some video goodness.. :D
and now, on to the diecast!
part of Majo’s Racing line, the new mold actually demonstrates that Majorette actually can make a good model once in a while.. this and their Fiesta WRC is top notch though the budget cuts in the form of interior delete is a regrettable move..
the car is quite detailed (which may explain the price, ~5$ compared to the 2$ of their regular line)
top view, with the A110-50 Logo. i do love the livery on this thing.., the kink on the body looks great too!
from the front, the car looks menacing enough.. with the squinting LEDs and quite fascinating throwback to the old A110’s fog lamps..
though Majorette really needs to update their wheels both in design and material..
back wheels looks off in this angle.. a little diameter increase may help..
the back also gets quite the detailing, with the LED strip across it horizontally, the crisp splitter and wing (spoiler?) and the Renault logo, you could also see they sculpt a brake pattern directly on the wheels.
also, bonus, with the Renault Nissan Alliance’s another concept car :D
