After being active here for a few years now you get into the situation many models have passed already, even when you’re doing mainly French/German cars. It’s not that I can’t show new models but the Renault Clio V6 I’ve shown before.
But this one ain’t a 1/43 like the Universal Hobbies I showed back then: This is a 3" Norev! Pretty rare, don’t think I saw it that much so when I spotted it it was destined to be mine.
I would have preferred a road going car though but then again: I’ve never seen a 3" Clio V6 this good anyway so I’m excited for having it.
One can tell it’s a bit of an older casting though (at least: that’s what I feel), the rear wheels are way too much “hidden” in the wheel wells and those headlights nowadays would look better I’m sure.
And the wheels up front seem to be somewhat too wide for the tires, maybe Norev just forget tires nowadays have more rubber to protect the wheels a bit from the sidewalks.
The dust on it’s windshield is a dead giveaway on it’s age as well ;-)
The rear has painted taillights but for a 3" that is totally acceptable of course. The roll cage is a nice aspect.
So no need to explain I love it. I think there’s a yellow one as well but that one has chromed wheels so I can do without it. And on that Bomb shell...
