Les 2CV de Cochonou. A manufacturer of Sausages. That’s what Cochonou was. And they made a few 2CVs for publicity, a few ended up being used at the Tour de France.
And Norev made a 3" of it. And for me personally it’s one epic livery as there’s a similar one parked nearby. Because the pub I attend regularly has a 2 CV with a livery pretty alike. Some of you following me on Instagram might recognise it as I’ve shown it over there.
Theo’s ride. Some of you might know I go to this pub every Thursday night so I took the Norev with me last night. Yet it was too dark.
And the road it’s parked at is a bit too crowded for a decent shoot during the day. Maybe I’ll just close that road for a shoot.
So when did Cochonou use these in “Le Tour”, back in the ‘60's? Nope. They started to attend the caravane publicitaire in 1997! Years after shutting down production of the 2CV.
And I simply just love it. It might become an “in my pocket” just to wait and shoot it with Theo’s pride and joy decently if a moment appears.
And that’s it for today, still in a very busy flow so no lecture again. That will take till X-mas probably...
