Christmas was early this year! I just received a package from Santa, all the way from Lapland California. The contents were way beyond I could comprehend so it will take me a while to cover it all. One thing in there instantly made my heartbeat rise over 100bpm: Citroën’s BX 4TC.

Gustard. Most white of all Philipilihp.

I covered it before when I showed the “Stradale” by Universal Hobbies way, way before. And TFritch did a great piece on an actual rally cast as well. So we covered it’s history already.

And it obviously is a Majorette I’m showing here, with the overly exaggerated wide wheels. I know many of you don’t like it but I always did somehow. It looks so... Dedicated? Yeah, and ridiculous a bit as well.

It survived it kms pretty decent. Of course there’s some paint chips but axles, wheels and doors still work as intended.

But the length of the car makes pretty clear it wasn’t perfect for rallying, at least not on my dioramas. It made it to the Michel Hommell collection so if you’re ever near Rennes be sure to visit it. Understatement of the year!

And that’s it for today, more to come from this package. Way more. Maybe my facorite 1/43 cast just yet. French. From Dieppe. Mindblowing.

So thank you Herr Eisen/Jonee/@Fuldamobil for this amazing RAOK. Highly appreciated. And Lizzy says Hi!
