Big things with little cars

French Friday: Petite citadine à moteur arrière

Finding my self in some serious time issues AND my lightbox starts to failing on me (the lights that is so these are all shot with some construction lamp and my iPhone for extra lightsources) so this is just a small post. Luckily on a car Amoore100 already did an excellent write up on, the last gen Renault Twingo.

He did cover all the three generations of the Twingo in his post and it actually features this little gem so if you recognize it remember: I’m not the only one with French casts!

And I’m not even the first one today to display some gem from the land of Liberté, Égalité, Fraternité. That is kind of odd awesome!

Amoore100's conclusion though was that the most recent iteration of the Twingo didn’t come near the original one, an opinion I don’t exactly share.

But maybe I’m too much excited about a rear engined city car, we don’t see a lot of that anymore. For a reason? Only time will tell.

This cast obviously is a 3" Majorette. I think Majorette captured the concept pretty good and for once I don’t hate these generic wheels mounted on it. The way Majorette handled details on logo, headlights and foglights is certainly good enough for me.

And a French car should be Bleu de France, Majorette at least nailed that. The cast has it flaws near sharp edges but it still is a toy so I certainly can live with that.

And that’s it for today. Bon Week-End!
