Big things with little cars

Yeah, here’s the first of the four features for today’s arrivals. I picked this one up via eBay because it looked really cool. And, in hand, it does not disappoint. This is the Chaparral 2D, a vintage race car from the U.S.A, and at the end, there is a link so you can learn more about the 1:1 if you want to. Now, onto, the pictures. This particular casting I am showing is from the 2003 First Editions.

My first impression is that this classic racing beauty is well done. I really like this casting :D.

I love my GT-R and P1 and Aventador and other modern cars, but I also love the classics. The classics are part of automotive history, and I can appreciate that about them. Plus, quite of few of them are just plain gorgeous. If you are a vintage race car fan, or just like a decent model, I’d pick one of these castings up. They aren’t that expensive, either. Also, here’s more into about the 1:1....

Happy collecting, everybody! Next up will be a car that’s an absolute monster. An American monster. It has the roar of a lion, and the speed of a cheetah. It’s very CATching, if you get my point ;)
