I started by getting up earlier than I do during the week in order to get to Cars & Coffee early this morning. It was bitter cold out there, especially for the South. Low-20ºs I think. Anyhow, I'm glad I went as this showed up:
I'll do a post for Cars and Coffee Central, and maybe cross-post it to Oppo and here. Sweet race car!
After that I checked the nearby Walmart that I never go to. I couldn't resist this, as the truck is just perfect:
I can't get the beetle's engine cover up as the plastic rear chrome is in the way. Should I de-chrome the front and back? I'm tempted to.
Then I went to a flea market that I haven't been to before. I struck out a couple weeks ago in a different part of town; there was nothing in the whole place. Well this market was completely different.
Here's the pics. I did spend $1-each for a few of these cars, but most were less than that, some at 25 cents. My total was right at $10. It was great!
These next six I picked up loose in various bins, and I've liberated everything shown above except the Reventón and one of the gold F40's. The Chaparral is fantastic, and the Cord is drop-dead gorgeous.
See what I mean? It's unbelievably beautiful.
Thanks for looking!
