More hawls! I’d mentioned these two previously, but didn’t think they’d come so fast. But here they are, and they are a gorgeous pair.
But why the Super Saver Edition? As some of you may or may not know, Diecast Select is going out of business. It’s a shame to see another small retailer go down, but that happens. However, this is good for the consumer right now, as their prices are unbeatable: below-cost for a brand new product!
This Lambo is normally $130-$150 on eBay, I got it for $85.
It is a 1971 Lamborghini Urraco Rally Bob Wallace Edition, and it’s absolutely nuts. Huge flares, big air dam, massive wing, fat tires: its got it all.
It was actually rallied, though unsuccessfully.
It’s a very neat car that looks far ahead of its time.
The lid of the small trunk doesn’t stay open, but that’s the only major flaw.
Now for my favorite of the two, the 1973 Porsche 917/10 that won the Interserie Championship with Leo Kinnunen at the helm.
I won’t pretend like I know much about the car, because I don’t. But it does look good.
Now that’s some massive rubber for you.
