Big things with little cars

Supercar Sunday

Here's my share for such a glorious day!

Hot from the oven is this extraordinary 1/18 scale model of the Pagani Zonda Cinque, 1 of only 20 pieces ever made by Peako. As a resin model, this car contains zero opening parts. However, what you get is one of the most beautiful paintwork finishes ever seen, along with extremely tight shutlines and ultra-fine details. Decked out in metallic red with carbon fibre panels, this Zonda is a true masterpiece. I would like to thank Justin from Singapore Diecasters Community (SGDC) for bringing out this exquisite piece for everyone to enjoy.

The second model of the day is my Honda NSX Type-R. You may argue that it is not among the fastest on a straight line, or that it does not have the powerplant of a proper supercar. But do remember that this is the very car that made Ferrari wake up from their slumber in the early 1990s, and received input from the late F1 legend Ayrton Senna. Couple that with Honda's solid reputation for reliability, and you have a gem of a car.

I look forward to your take on Supercar Sunday! Have a great day ahead!
