My 47th post just happened to be the same number as the Lesney released #47 Trojan 1 ton Van by Matchbox between 1958 - 1963. As far as I know, it only comes with the Brooke Bond Tea livery.

This does not have any openings nor interior. All you can do is roll it as do most early casting during that time.

Originally intended as a toy for kids, it has now become popular with collectors. I rate is 4.5 out of 5 for play value as it does not have any openings but it is solid enough to withstand rough play. The detail is 3.75 as this is more of a toy but still with nice moderate detail.
