Big things with little cars
Big things with little cars

Today I was drafted by my school music director to attend the leadership setup and meetings for our school music camp, seeing as I am the concertmaster of the school orchestra...well, the day ended up being mostly a bunch of sitting around and talking, which I did not participate in mainly because I have no close friends in music leadership and because I needed to get my summer reading finished...but anyways, at lunchtime our director gave us an hour and a half, so, after finishing what I had brought from home, I did what every self-respecting teenager would do and walked over to the nearest Target to browse the diecast aisle, a 10-15 minute walk from campus. On the way, I discovered that I actually had a $20 bill left over from going to the movies with my friends earlier in the year (usually we end up just paying for each other on separate occasions, so I had spent none of it previously). Therefore, I spent about five minutes in the HW aisle (since our Targets are way behind and have none of the better new MBXs) and selected some of the more recent HW that interested me...I got five, paid for them, and rushed back to school in time for more talking and “planning”.

Here are the fruits of my labor:

I’m very happy with my findings! The Elmiraj and DB5 are very pretty, while the Fiesta and Corvette I have been wanting to get for a while now. The Falken Mustang was a bonus that appealed to me more than I thought, and both it and the Elmiraj and DB5 were the last on the shelves so I was lucky to find them! So, what do you think, LaLD?
