During my lunch breaks at work I’ve been reading a terrific book about the Ford family. The current chapter is focusing on the shift from the 50's to 60's and has wonderful tidbits about the legendary Mustang, Falcon, Thunderbird, etc. So, I was pretty happy to stumble upon this ‘63 LoudFowl Ferd today at an antique mall. This has always been my most favorite of the Thunderbird designs.
This particular example was on the card. I liberated it as soon as I got home. The quality is ok. It’s a little misaligned in the rear and the paint/tampos are imperfect. But, it’s got a terrific metal base with excellent detail. Definitely happy to have this one in my collection. One of my all-time favorite Ford Designs.
