First, she led the Takarangers in repelling an invasion of Japan. Then she helped restore a tattered Morphin’ Grid. Now, Kaori Suzumiya takes up the mantle of Red Ranger once more to lead an all-new team.
Having responded to a call from Doctor K, she flew overseas to investigate anomalies that affected other people and granted them un-morphed access to the Grid. Now tasked with bringing them together, Kaori will have to pull from her years of experience being a two-time Red Ranger to show the new Rangers how best to use their newfound powers and unite them for one goal: protect the Grid—and the world with it.

Few people are as smart as Andrew Moser, a tech prodigy who was instrumental in creating the StarChip: the most powerful consumer-grade CPU in the world. But behind the chill facade is a conflicted young man who nearly didn’t get to this point, but is now bored and aimless despite his genius.
Only when a so-called “Power Ranger” came calling for him was his interest piqued. After all, he had accidentally tapped into the Grid, exposing him and others to it without him even knowing what it was. Now, the StarChip powers their Morphers, and Andrew acts as second-in-command to Kaori. Making the Rangers’ mission his own, he studies the Grid to best harness and protect it from anyone who dares to use it for evil.

There are hotshots, and then there’s Air Race-winning Martin O’Halloran, a pilot who claims he can fly anything and has the hours to back it up. It helps that he’s the son of a defence contractor mogul, though it’s a relationship Martin would rather keep at arms’ length. Thanks to his money and connections—and the support of his mother—he rose to the skies as both heartthrob and playboy, living a carefree jet-set life.
It all changed when he was suddenly pulled into the Morphin’ Grid, coming out as someone who thought he could take on the world. And he almost did—until he faced something he couldn’t defeat on his own that nearly killed his mother. So he joins the Rangers to hone his skills, lend his talent, and make things right.

A woman of many talents, Lyra Tevez is a true petrolhead and jet-set traveller who’s been in almost every country to race and relax, something that lets her get away from her perilous past, if only for a while. Living in a campervan for most of her days, she found herself within the Morphin’ Grid and imbued with stunning power.
With no way of finding out what it’s for, however, Lyra turned to nighttime vigilantism to exact revenge on the man who nearly killed her before Kaori found her. Now, as the Orange Ranger, Kaori has a renewed purpose, a family to call her own, and the perfect conduit for her talents and power.
Residence: Christchurch, New Zealand
Designation: Green Armor Ranger
Ranger Role: Quartermaster
Day Job: Stockbroker, New Zealand’s Exchange
Machine: Mercedes-AMG GT R
You’d be forgiven to think of Troy Edwards as some uptight, ruthless corporate type who looks down on those who can’t buy stocks. In truth, Troy came from humble beginnings. A prodigy at heart, he took a scholarship in a business school to help his father recover from bankruptcy. In the process, he became a top short-seller who helped expose a tax haven for government officials. For some, he was a hero. For others, he was the enemy.
A near-death experience during a hijacking put him inside the Grid, granting him the ability to Morph—and keeping him alive. Seeking out the two-time Red Ranger for answers, Troy got even more than that: a new job that will require from him the utmost commitment and strength. Something he reckons he can give.
Location: Nairobi, Kenya
Designation: Silver Purity Ranger
Ranger Role: Scout
Day Job: Lieutenant, French Foreign Legion

The mythical Sixth Ranger has always backed up the Rangers when they’re needed the most. It’s a role Msizi Zonkizizwe has been filling in for most of her time in the army, until one fateful day when she led a squadron to what turned into a suicide mission. Command responsibility compelled her to discharge. In reality, she saw the Grid envelop her and kill her comrades. Msizi thought the Zulu had answers. Turns out it only told half the tale.
Kaori found Msizi amid battle, her mind still wracked by guilt and apprehension at the sight of someone who knows of the Morphin’ Grid. But with an assurance that the Grid can bring her squadron back, she accepts the offer to be part of the ever-growing Ranger team.
Newcomer Jonny Quizon (the Control Ranger) and returning Doctor K (the Atomic Ranger) will help the Rangers maximize their powers, design their Zords, and even step in from time to time with the Master Morpher. They’ll also investigate the monsters, villains, and even Rogue Rangers that the Star Speedsters will face, and keep the team united to the very end.
Along the way, old faces may return to be Rangers once more. They shall act as mentors, guiding the new team in every way they can and chip in when Jonny and K need them the most. Some may even be key to reinforcing the Grid, or fighting them from within.
Are you ready? Time to morph!
For now, at least, this is it. Be warned that they’re all just drafts meant to be companions to the diecast cars, so I need your help in developing this concept a little better.
