Imitation is the Sincerest Form of Rip-Offery

It’s not that difficult to design an original car for kids, is it? I suppose there might have been enough changed from the MBX original to keep the litigation at bay. Here’s a TV broadcast truck I found at a community tag sale recently.

Note that this is the GT model, just a few thousand more than the plebeian regular base model TV truck. For the extra dough, you get an educated camera man behind the lens, and an updated satellite dish.

But, we’re not proud enough to actually put our company name on the base, just the Made In China label, as required by law.
