Big things with little cars

Introduction: The LaLD version.

As some of you might have read my introduction on Oppo already, I had a LaLD Intro planned, and, well, here it is!!

My name is Niko, 27 years old. I daily drive and race a ‘98 Integra Type R and love and breathe cars ever since I could pronounce my first words. In fact, I think my first words were ‘Ford Escort’ (since thats the car my dad had when I was little).

As a small child, I had an enormous collection of Die-Cast models. From matchbox models to Hot Wheels rarities etc. Boxes upon boxes piled up with small cars. Unfortunately, most of it got stolen/sold. In that age, I didn’t really know what I had.

Fast forwarding 20 years and my ‘collection’ exists of a couple of older machines that have sort of survived the batteries, the abuse and the neglect.

I have to admit, LaLD and the LaLD community, if it werent for you guys, I probably would not have looked twice at the older models I had sitting around. Gotta give credit where credit is due. And further more, a big thanks! I have decided to do some repairwork on some of them, adding a touch of paint and trying to find some missing parts for some.

Again, a big thank you!

Please, enjoy the pictures!

Friendly greetings from Holland!

Niko

What I’m pretty much trying to do now is, kinda, up the collection by buying interresting stuff at car-related adventures/visits that I do. The last 4 pictures contain purchases from the Belgium Automobile Museum, the Nordschleife and Dusseldorf Classic Car Remise.
