The good news is that I’ve been holding back on some of my community tag sale finds. I wanted to spread them out over time, but it looks like I’m going to have to share them quicker than I thought.
Same with recent HWEPs, I have photos of a few that have taken place but was waiting for a couple more to be finished and show them all. Now I sort of have to get them out of the way too.
Here’s two of the cars from the tag sale:
MC Toys Toyota Mister Two, and their rather gaudy Ferrari 250 GTO. The paint on the MR2 is flaking off in large pieces. I can slide the blade of my xacto knife under that whole hood section.
I had a conversation with someone here, recently, regarding MC Toys, and some of their history. I wish I could find it because it has some great info I’d like to quote. But I’ve looked through posts, comments, and emails and cannot locate it. I have a long line of diecast at the customizing table, so I don’t know if these will see the stripper or the trades page. If the 250 gets picked, it will get new shoes and paint, no doubt!
The other news is that I saw my pain management doctor last Monday, and he knows all my problems and surgeries, and such. I started to describe some new symptoms that have appeared recently and he stopped me and said I had to go back to my neck surgeon ASAP.
So, I may have to go under the knife again. I’ll know on Tuesday. If it’s yes, I’ll probably have a week or two before it gets scheduled because I have to stop some of my meds beforehand. I’ll want to use that time to get caught up on the few outstanding HWEPs I still have hanging in the ether, finish up the artwork for the decals, get my customs bench in order, and just get in the right frame of mind for it.
I may be out of commission for a while, or I may merely be stuck in bed for a week or so. If it’s the latter, I’ll be able to be online, but no hunting, no working on cars, etc. I guess I’ll get caught up on some reading, but I don’t know yet.
I’ve been sitting on this information since Monday, trying to process it. I thought I was done with surgery. I was ready to learn to live with the aches and pains I have now and am familiar with, but these new symptoms can’t be ignored, so it’s up to the doctors. I’ll be around for a little while until things start to happen.
On the other hand, I might be making more of this than is necessary. I do have a tendency to overthink things. I’ll let you know. Thanks for listening.
