LaLD Car Week: Free for all Friday - 1/43 Herpa Ferrari F40

Happy Friday everyone. Today I present you my grail of cars the Ferrari F40. There’s not much to say about this twin turbo V8 non assisted beast other that I want one in the worst way. Today you will have to settle for a 1/43 model.

This is a Herpa model the body is plastic and the chassis is die cast. This allowed unpresidented detail versus pure die cast of the time. I think they did a lot of things right here proportions interior details simulated suspension. This cars wing is deforming over time which is a bit of a bummer. I am thrilled to have it in my collection.

Thank you judges cya next year maybe ;)
