We all know the story of the Mustang. It’s been around for over 50 years, no small feat for any single model of car. This is a 2010 Mustang GT, specifically, a Hot Wheels Collectors Edition 2010 Mustang GT.
This particular year represents a bit of a transition with the Mustang as keen observers will have noticed the GT badges on the front fenders. This was because, while the car has a new front and rear, the engines were the same as the 2005-09 cars. This car sports the 4.6 L modular V8, while the 2011 would get the 5.0 L Coyote engine.
It is a beautiful car in Spectraflame Black with red stripes. Headlights and taillights are well displayed. The wheel proportions are spot on as well with the same size both front and rear. And the classic redwall tires really show with those stripes.
The interior, too is well done with a much better attempt at creating the actual interior instead of some basic plastic molds. The red Recaro buckets look nice as well, giving a black interior an extra bit of kick.
Overall, this car is a beautiful highlight in my collection of Hot Wheels Mustangs and was worth every penny it cost.
The details on this car are truly exceptional, even if not AUTOart or Greenlight exact. Hot Wheels has been producing Mustangs from the beginning and I can say that they got this one right.
And let’s face it. There are many things associated with the United States of America but not many say ‘Murica more than a Mustang and Las Vegas!
